| We do not accept rush orders for an additional fee. ETS does, however, make every attempt to complete the work as soon as possible.

| No, ETS does not buy back old equipment or offer exchanges for new items.

Do you charge a restocking fee for returned equipment?

| Yes, ETS charges a minimum 15% restocking fee for items not needed or ordered in error if the equipment is returned in “as new” condition and in the original packaging material and shipping carton.

Does ETS provide customer service?
|
| ETS strives to assist customers before and after the sale of equipment or services. Every effort is made to help educate the customer and point them in the right direction by providing detailed user manuals, articles, web site and phone assistance. Unfortunately, a small percentage of companies do not properly train their staff or read the manuals. ETS cannot supply detailed training, interpretation of material performance or specifications. Training and Consulting Services can be provided by ETS or other consultants for a fee. Standards are protected by copyright laws and must be purchased through the various issuing organizations.

How are orders from outside the United States handled?
|
| All prices are in US dollars, FOB, Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA. Payments for equipment and services received from companies located outside the United States (including Canada and Mexico) are due in US funds drawn upon a US bank. Freight, insurance, duties and handling fees are additional. All payments by Letter of Credit require an additional 350.00USD added to the amount of the order to offset banking, documentation and miscellaneous fees.

| ETS is a manufacturing company that produces a wide variety of equipment for the Electrostatics and Environmental Control Industry. We also offer Testing and Consulting Services.

The equipment is used on multiple shifts almost every day. What can be done to avoid stoppages during equipment failures and repairs?
|
| Some companies utilize ETS laboratory equipment to measure materials in a non-laboratory environment or in applications for which the system was not designed. If plans are to use Resistance Measuring, Static Decay, Triboelectric Charge Generation or Static Shielding equipment in a dusty, hazardous or production environment, special measures or equipment modifications should be taken to assure the equipment operates optimally.
To ensure long life, ETS strongly recommends the following: If operating Material Testing Equipment on multiple shifts a minimum of two systems should be used. Equipment should be returned at least once a year for periodic maintenance and calibration. Depending on the application and frequency of use, modified or custom systems, may better meet user requirement.

What are the standard payment terms?
|
| ETS offers four ways to pay for goods and services.
Establish a net 30-day billing account.
This is the most common means used by companies to procure goods and services. ETS can establish a net 30-day billing account that allows for the shipment of equipment and services against a purchase order which has been faxed or mailed. To set up an account, please provide ETS with four (4) business and one (1) bank reference. NOTE: Some banks are now requiring a letter which gives authorization to release information. If your bank has such a requirement, please send them a letter authorizing the release of information to ETS. This is the single most common reason for delayed shipments to new customers. Providing this information in a timely manner will help avoid delays in shipments to the end user.
Payment by Credit Card
ETS accepts Visa and MasterCard for the purchase of equipment, consulting and testing services. When placing an order by phone, please have your account number, account name, address and expiration date available.
COD Shipment
ETS can ship equipment within the United States by C.O.D. This method is typically used when making a one-time purchase.
Advanced Payment
Always welcome. Typically used for one-time purchases, by overseas companies or if a credit problem exists.

What is required when placing an order?

| ETS requires that a Formal Purchase Order (Not a Purchase Requisition) be issued for all equipment, testing and consulting services. The PO must include the following information: PO Number, Bill To, Ship To, Phone and Fax Numbers, Services or Equipment to be provided, voltage requirements (110 or 220 VAC), Cost per item and Shipping Instructions. The purchase order may be faxed, e-mailed or mailed to ETS. Orders will not be shipped based on a verbal order.

What is the standard warranty?
|
| Electro-Tech Systems warrants its equipment, accessories and parts of its manufacture to be and remain free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from date of invoice and will, at the discretion of Seller, either replace or repair without charge, (F.O.B. Glenside, PA) if proved to have been defective at the time it was sold. All equipment claimed defective must be returned properly identified to ETS. This warranty only applies to equipment operated in accordance with Seller's operating instructions. The Seller's liability hereunder is expressly limited to repairing or replacing any parts of the equipment manufactured by the manufacturer and found to have been defective. The Seller shall not be liable for damage resulting or claimed to result from any cause whatsoever.
This warranty becomes null and void should the equipment, or any part thereof, be abused or modified by the customer of if used in any application other than that for which it was intended. This warranty to replace or repair is the only warranty, either expressed or implied or provided by law, and is in lieu of all other warranties and the Seller denies any other promise, guarantee, or warranty with respect to the equipment or accessories and, in particular, as to its or their suitability for the purposes of the buyer or its or their performance, either quantitatively or qualitatively or as to the products which it may produce and the buyer is expected to expressly waive rights to any warranty other than that stated herein.
Equipment should be shipped prepaid and insured in the original packaging. If the original packaging is not available, the equipment must be packed in a sufficiently large box (or boxes if applicable) of double wall construction with substantial packing around all sides. The RMA number, description of the problem along with the contact name and telephone number must be included in formal paperwork and enclosed with the instrument. Round trip freight and related charges are the owner’s responsibility.
