Carmel Avenue Glenside, Pa. 19038 Tel: 215-887-2196 Fax: 215-887-0131 Click here to download a map of ETS and the Greater Philadelphia Area (719K) DIRECTIONS FROM PHILADELPHIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT There are more direct ways to ETS but this is the easiest if you are not familiar with the Philadelphia area. Exit from the airport and head south towards Delaware on I-95. Look for signs for I-476 "Plymouth Meeting" which exits to the right. Head north on I-476 until you reach the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-276) at Plymouth Meeting. Enter the turnpike and head east towards New Jersey. Take the next exit (about 4 miles) EXIT 339 "Ambler/ Ft. Washington". Take Route 309 SOUTH for about a ¼ mile. Take the "Oreland" exit. This exit turns into Pennsylvania Avenue. (The beginning of the road is one-way at this point). Continue on Pennsylvania Avenue for 2.2 miles. ETS is located on the left-hand side opposite the U-Haul dealer. Pennsylvania Avenue turns into Mt. Carmel Avenue at our facility. If you reach a traffic light at the intersection of Mt. Carmel and North Hills Avenue you have gone to far. ^ Top DIRECTIONS FROM THE PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE From the Pennsylvania Turnpike take Exit #339 "Ambler/Ft. Washington". Take 309 south for about ¼ mile. Take the "Oreland" exit onto Pennsylvania Avenue. (The beginning of the road is one-way at this point). Continue down Pennsylvania Avenue for 2.2 miles. ETS is located on the left-hand side opposite the U-Haul dealer. Pennsylvania Avenue turns into Mt. Carmel Avenue at our facility. If you reach a traffic light at the intersection of Mt. Carmel and North Hills Avenue you have gone to far. ^ Top DIRECTIONS FROM NEW JERSEY AND POINTS EAST Major roadways in New Jersey such as the New Jersey Turnpike will tie into the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Plan the most direct route. Take Pennsylvania Turnpike Exit 339 "Ambler/Ft. Washington". Take 309 South for about ¼ mile. Take the "Oreland" exit. This exit turns into Pennsylvania Avenue. (The beginning of the road is one-way at this point). Continue on Pennsylvania Avenue for 2.2 miles. ETS is located on the left-hand side opposite the U-Haul dealer. Carmel and North Hills Avenue you have gone to far. ^ Top DIRECTIONS FROM WILMINGTON DELAWARE AND POINTS SOUTH Take I-95 North. Once you enter Pennsylvania begin to look for the sign for I-476 NORTH "Plymouth Meeting". Once on I-476 head north until you reach the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-276) at Plymouth Meeting. Carmel and North Hills Avenue you have gone to far. ^ Top DIRECTIONS FROM WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA AND POINTS WEST The Pennsylvania Turnpike is listed as I-76 for much of its length until it becomes I-276 around the Norristown Exit (I-76 splits off and heads south). DO NOT FOLLOW I-76 BUT CONTINUE ON THE TURNPIKE TOWARDS NEW JERSEY ON I-276! Take Exit #339 "Ambler/Ft. Washington". Take Route 309 SOUTH for about ¼ mile. Take the "Oreland" exit onto Pennsylvania Avenue. (The beginning of the road is one-way at this point). Continue down Pennsylvania Avenue for 2.2 miles. ETS is located on the left-hand side opposite the U-Haul dealer. Pennsylvania Avenue turns into Mt. Carmel Avenue at our facility. If you reach a traffic light at the intersection of Mt. Carmel and North Hills Avenue you have gone to far. ^ Top DIRECTIONS FROM PLYMOUTH MEETING/KING OF PRUSSIA Take Exit #339 "Ambler/Ft. Washington" on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Take 309 South for about ¼ mile. Take the "Oreland" exit onto Pennsylvania Avenue. (The beginning of the road is one-way at this point). Continue down Pennsylvania Avenue for 2.2 miles. ETS is located on the left-hand side opposite the U-Haul dealer. Pennsylvania Avenue turns into Mt. Carmel Avenue at our facility. If you reach a traffic light at the intersection of Mt. Carmel and North Hills Avenue you have gone to far. ^ Top DIRECTIONS FROM CENTRAL PHILADELPHIA Head north on Broad Street to the DEAD END. Make a left turn onto Cheltenham Avenue and go to the far end of Cheltenham Square. Turn right onto Ogontz Avenue (Route 309 at this point). After the traffic light at Cedarbrook Hills Apartments, take the exit on the right "Easton Road Glenside". Make a left at the Y intersection (Beaver College is on your left) onto Limekiln Pike. Go to the fourth traffic light. (Which is directly above the SEPTA rail line and has a Church on the far-left corner). Turn left on Mt. Carmel Avenue and stay to your left. The next traffic light is a FORK intersection. Go left (still Mt. Carmel Avenue). Go straight through the next light. You will see a U-Haul dealer on your left and ETS is located on the right hand side. Turn right into the parking lot at the first driveway after the ETS sign. ^ Top DIRECTIONS FROM UPPER NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA Head South on Philmont Avenue which becomes Route 63 West. Remain on Route 63 and follow the signs. Make a left turn onto Edgehill Road. Proceed to the third traffic light and turn left onto Easton Road (Dunkin Donuts is on the left). Go to the fourth light and make a right turn onto Mount Carmel Avenue. (Mount Carmel Ave. is before the Railroad overpass). Remain on Mt. Carmel until you come to a fork intersection. Go to the left (you are still on Mt. Carmel Ave). Continue on until you see a U-Haul dealer on your left. ETS is located on the right hand side. Turn right into parking lot at the first driveway after the ETS sign. ^ Top DIRECTIONS FROM CENTER CITY PHILADELPHIA Head West on the Schuylkill Expressway to Lincoln Drive. Continue on Lincoln Drive until it ends and turn left onto Emlin St. which turns into Cresheim Valley Drive. Cross over Germantown Pike (@ Trolley Tracks). Make a left-turn onto Stenton Avenue. Turn right at the second light onto Willow Grove Avenue. Go through two (2) traffic lights and turn left onto Route 73 (Church Road). Travel approx. ¼ mile and make a left-turn onto Station Avenue. Turn left at the light onto Mount Carmel Avenue. You will see a U-Haul dealer on your left. ETS is located on the right hand side, the third property past the intersection. Turn right into the parking lot at the first driveway after the ETS sign. ^ Top AREA HOTELS - The following hotels are within 10-15 minutes of ETS.
AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION ALL major car rental companies have rental facilities at Philadelphia International Airport. The Commuter Rail Line (SEPTA) stops at each terminal and will take you to the Glenside train station which is a few minutes from the ETS facility. We will be happy to pick you up from the station. Please see the schedule for the "R1" Airport line. This is covered in the next section. ^ Top SEPTA (Regional Passenger Rail System) The regional rail system is a good alternative to driving or flying. It connects with the other northeast US rail lines and will drop you off less than two blocks from our Suburban Philadelphia location. Glenside is on the R5 "Doylestown" line. NOTE: Go one stop past Glenside and get off at the North Hills Depot. Since Glenside is a major stop on the line, you can always get a train to drop you there and we can pick you up.
