Resistance Probe – M 842
Overview:
Precision Surface Resistance Measurement
The M 842 Probe offers unparalleled precision for measuring the resistance or resistivity of various surfaces, including small, non-flat samples, or specific areas on larger specimens. Engineered with twenty-two spring-loaded, gold-plated pin-style electrodes, this probe ensures reliable and accurate readings.
Features:
- Advanced Electrode Design: Features five center electrodes encircled by seventeen outer ring electrodes for comprehensive surface analysis.
- Versatile Application: Ideal for a wide range of materials and sample types, accommodating both small and irregularly shaped surfaces.
- Optimal Measurement Area: Designed for a minimum 1.25” (32mm) diameter measurement surface and a 0.438” (11mm) deep cavity.
- Easy Maintenance: Gold-plated electrodes are socket-mounted, allowing for quick and convenient replacement.
- Consistent Contact: Each electrode requires 5 oz. (688 gr.) for total compression, ensuring consistent and stable contact during measurements.
- Seamless Integration: The M 842 Probe is designed for optimal performance when used with the ETS M 848 Universal Handle Assembly. It also pairs exceptionally well with the M 871 Wide Range Resistance Meter.
